Free Junior Swims

Here you can find details of the free swimming sessions that are running at the Leisure Centres across the city over February Half Term.

These sessions are run by Hull Culture and Leisure at Albert Avenue Pools, Beverley Road Baths and Woodford Leisure Centre.

Hull Culture and Leisure have a series of adult to child ratios based upon the size of our pools which are in line with national pool operating guidelines. These rules exist for your safety and our pool sites strictly adhere to these rules. Ensure that you read and fully understand the ratios before attending to avoid any disappointment.

Adult to child pool ratios

Albert Avenue Pools and Fitness outdoor lido

• one adult can take one child aged 3 or under and no other under 8 years old, one adult to one child

• one adult can take 2 children aged 4 to 7 into the pool, one adult to 2 children

• one adult can take one child aged 3 or under and no other under 8 years old, one adult to one child

• one adult can take 2 children aged 4 to 7 into the pool, one adult to 2 children

Beverley Road Baths

• one adult can take one child aged 3 or under and no other under 8 years old, one adult to one child

• one adult can take 2 children aged 4 to 7 into the pool, one adult to 2 children

Ennerdale Leisure Centre

• one adult can take one child aged 3 or under and no other under 8 years old, one adult to one child

• one adult can take 2 children aged 4 to 7 into the pool, one adult to 2 children

Woodford Leisure Centre

• one adult can take one child aged 3 or under and no other under 8 years old, one adult to one child

• one adult can take 2 children aged 4 to 7 into the pool, one adult to 2 children
